Welcome to My Table
Hi, I’m Tee—welcome to Tee’s Table!
I’ve always been a foodie—sometimes too much of one. Born in Washington, D.C., and having spent half my life in the city and the other half in Prince George’s County and now Baltimore, I’ve explored nearly every corner of the Washington Metropolitan food scene.
My foodie roots run deep, tracing back to middle school when my friends and I would roam up and down 14th Street NW before and after school, stopping at our favorite spots—Smokey’s, Seafood World, and Mocha Hut (where my fancy coffee addiction first took hold). Those early adventures sparked my love for the D.C. dining scene, and as I grew older, my appetite for discovery only expanded.
From hidden mom-and-pop gems to upscale dining destinations, I’ve uncovered unforgettable meals, some at places that sadly no longer exist, and others that are still thriving today.
Now, let me be clear—I’m no professional food critic. My writing style is casual, conversational, and sprinkled with a bit of humor (and probably a dirty martini or two). This blog isn’t about fancy culinary jargon; it’s about sharing genuine experiences, honest opinions, and celebrating good food and great drinks, all for the pure fun of it.
Here at Tee’s Table, I’m inviting you to pull up a seat as I share my dining adventures!
So grab your appetite, and let’s dig in—one bite, one sip, and one story at a time. Cheers!
